Upload Logs: Put Logs in one folder per app version

  • Feature Description: When I’m uploading logs (using the uploadClientLogs api), I would like those logs to be in a folder which name is the app version. This would help me investigate issue (I tried to implement one bugfix, I deployed a new version, I want to be able to filter logs for only this new version)

  • impact for my app: Mid

or even better:
Would be great if we could pass an argument to this method, and this argument would be included in the logs filename.
This way, we can put ourselves the patch number, or anything else (for instance if I have this send logs at multiple places in my code, and I want to focus on logs sent in one particular scenario, I can)

@trebonius0 I will forward it for internal discussion, but as we are working on some new features for the crash report section on the dev console, I’m not sure that we will invest more in this API. Anyway, I will check it out and let you know.
